ever since 3D realms went under we have all been living in this post apocalyptic forums. Some of us make a living trolling for nurishment, others seek refuge @ the church of steve. It is a harsh environment.

I suppose I can give a serious answer though, on ebay you could probably get away with a starting price of $2. I don't think you will make alot tbh, it's a very niche collector's item I reckon. You might have better luck over at Duke4.net

Could you do the internet a huge favor and get a clear scan of the case before selling it? It drives me nuts having this off centered pic as the only cover i can find.

Well considering the game is never going to be released, no one cares about said game anymore, it contains no real content that can't be found readily on the internet, and is just about ten years old I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say it's work approximately jack shit.

That being said I would just hang on to it so you can use it later for a wall mounted collage of fail.

I think you're lying about the dvd quality bit...Joe said that the trailer in the dvd is the same .MOV file that can be found on the internet. 60 mb or something. IIRC.

My best guess is that perhaps 100 people would like to have that enough to pay perhaps $100...I doubt it would go above that even if the bidding becomes fierce. Do you seriously want to part with DNF memorabilia? It may be the only DNF content you will see in your lifetime. It would be worth tons more if you hang onto it and pass it down to your son & him to his son, etc. until DNF is actually released. Then when the aliens do land and take over 3DR and Take2 then they might buy it for some gracktalon crystals...tons of them!

I forgot... it went for more than I had at the time, I remember that. I forgot to store it as I only track pricing on active games. Never have made an entry for DNF.

Its an official 3D Realms item.
3D Realms produced this DVD as promotion for E3 2001.
It was the restart of the Hype train..

So yes, everything - The DVD Case, The flyer, the Disc, etc. was made by 3D Realms

Seriously - How can you be a DNF fan and not know this? Its a pretty well known item, for those of us who followed the game closely from 1998 to 2001

Well if you are a fan, and are searchig for rare duke related items on eBay, you would also know how rare this DVD is today. So if i was to list it on eBay im sure people would know that the DVD is Real.
