System Link Support?

On XBox.com, it says the game will have system support for 2-8 players. Is that just for online or will we infact be able to hook up up to 8 xboxes together to play offline our coop and deathmatches??

8 player co-op or Dukematch via System Link or Xbox Live.

If you system link eight 360's together, I want to see a picture of that.

Could you combine a system link-up setup and XBox Live? Like say could 3 players' systems be wired, and another 5 people on Live play together?

No, that's against system architecture. This has nothing to do with us, this is a Microsoft limitation. The two modes are exclusive of each other.
