Predator console messages

Having gone through severeal weeks of dev and ignoring the problem of missing console messages, I figured i'd hold off and wait for another person to declare same problem. Haven't noticed the expected response yet, so I thought I'd chime in.

I've reinstalled Prey thrice. On my latest instalation, no text is shown in editor console at all. I've also noticed only (what seems to be) selected text in console. I wasn't sure if I needed an answer to this question, so I ignored it till now. But now I know I do need the answer to said question.

So can anyone from HH/#DR help me? Why does no text show up inconsole while using editor? I'd like to know why my map isn't compiling.
