Huge new update to dopefish.com!

Today I started work on (gasp) an update for the Dopefish website. I haven't updated it in about 16 months (save for forum code updates).

I have rather a lot of submissions, and I just did the first one. The date on the email was Jan 22, 2002 -

The update has roughly 50 new things in it. Some things you'll recognize right away (like new intro graphic, and a minor layout redesign). Some are scattered all through the page. In fact, I got so irritated at tracking each one, I gave up on the revisions page.

As of Feb 17th, this is everything that I have pending for dopefish.com. If it's not up there, then it wasn't in my queue of things to add.

If you know of something else that should be up there, email me about it. I won't be taking so long with updates now. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Scotty, do you realise what you did is impolite at the very least?
It has nothing to do with the thread, although that feature was a part of the last update, but that was almost a year ago.
Normally this wouldn't even be that bad, but:

Secondly you bumped a thread with a topic "Huge new update to dopefish.com!", which makes people think the site has been updated again, only to have their happy feelings destroyed once they find out it was just you.

I miss my Dopefish news...

Would you just post in another thread, or even create a new one if necesary the second time you come here since ages?

My guess is that Scotty just checked Dopefish.com and onl6 now realized that it's been updated since his last visit.
He's just saying that he's suprised by the update.

Besides, it's generally been Joe's policy for ppl to use existing threads, rather than post new ones.

Given the outcry about bumping this thread, he may tell me not to do it again, but, oh well, [brown stuff] happens... [img]smile.gif[/img]
