Rise of the Triad through DOSBox
How can install the original Rise of the Triad v1.3 CD through DOXBox running under Windows Vista x64 onto the hard drive in order to play it? I still have the original CD-ROM, manual and the generic Apogee box.

well, I could create a pack, but there is no way that you can prove that you own the game. and sharing my registered cd version is not allowed. then how? The answer is bellow:

I highly recommend you to download D-Fend Reloaded:
http://dfendreloaded.sourceforge.net/
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/dfe....5.0-Setup.exe

It's an easy to use frontend for DOSBox and the latest pack 0.5.0 it includes DOSBox 0.72

personally I use 2 unofficial CVS builds:
http://ykhwong.x-y.net/cvs/frame.html
http://www.si-gamer.net/gulikoza/

I use command line parameters and custom configuration files. I don't use frontends. I also have my cds in iso and in bin/cue format (bin/cue is needed when there are audio tracks), and I load them with imgmount.

quick ROTT related question, what is the name of that X-mas song in the game?

the one that (i think) plays in the first level with the X-mas easter egg.

"Deadly gentlemen"

To find out the other song names, enter cheatmode and type in \ L E E

but is that the name of the song in ROTT or the original X-mas song it was based on?

The song is humorously named, but it is based off of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen'.
