Can't find my way forward - Puzzle - Prey

Hi there,

Well, I am a new member of this forum. How are you all?

I am about to purchase this game "Prey" as soon as I go out today however, I currently own the demo and I am up to a particular section in the game and I can't find my way forward, I can't work out what I am supposed to do.

I just learned to "spirit walk", I got out of the spirit walking section. I am up to a section where I had to go through a forcefield and inside that room there are two switches: The first activates the wallwalk and the second reactivates the forcefield. I activated the wallwalk and I went on it. As you walk on it, you suddenly see that there is a piece missing on the wallwalk, in other words, it's been cut-off. The first idea that came to my head is I will need to jump this however as soon as you step forward, the screen turns up-side-down and you are taken to the other side. You continue on and you see another forcefield where you will have to use spirit walk to enter the room and this is it. I enter the room, there is a switch the you touch and then when you look out, on the top there is something moving from left to right and vice versa each time you touch the screen/switch. That's it. That's where I am. I can't see any doors opening, nor the forcefield deactivates. Going back will basically take you back through the level.

If anyone knows what section I am talking about, I would appreciate if you give me a clue in finning my way forward

I don't expect you to be psychics and just know what I am describing so do you need screenshots? Let me know. Thanks!

Instead of jumping off that (moving) wallwalk, try going into spirit mode. Then flip the switch, and watch your body move across the gap.

Thank you for that tip but it doesn't solve my issue

I just played it again, but still, I don't see any openings any where.

I figured it out!

I paid attention to where that lift is going!
