Ninja-Strike... Possible Team WangBang project...
Well, decided that I couldn't find the Duke 3D package, so I decided to revive Shadow Warrior instead. However, I'm sticking with my plan to possibly bring a Team WangBang concept similar to that of Counter-Strike, where, of course, you have two different ninja gangs, one good, one bad. However, I'd believe that these types of maps seem to be better for SW than for Duke anyway. Using JonoF's technology, I'm hoping to have my eyes set on team multiplayer and having some good missions in place. What d'ya think... This sound like something that would bring Team WangBang together? Of course, you still have nuclear explosions that can go off in total disaster, and anime babes that need protecting, so some maps like these may probably come in handy.

Re: Ninja-Strike... Possible Team WangBang project...
Sweet, using SWP Build to map some of the levels to get this project off the ground. Hopefully someone'll write a .con file that'll combine WangBang and Coop into one unit for half and half, so that way we have half the players play one team, and half play the other, and not just be general WangBang, obviously. That's gonna take some thought.
EDIT: Okay, I'm laying ground on my first map, which is a remake of de_dust from CS, I renamed it sw_dust, and the sw prefix would pretty much be used for the nuclear warhead prevention maps. The idea behind nuclear warhead prevention is for the good guys (Anti-Nuclear Squad) is to prevent the bad guys (Assassin Ninja Clan) from locating one of two nuclear warheads in the map and turning their rocket launcher into a weapon of mass destruction, and blowing the whole area into kingdom come. I mean, unlike Counter-Strike, you can't really plant bombs or rescue hostages, but I'm doing something that Shadow Warrior can let you do with a team effort. Should be fun when I get it done in another few weeks...

Re: Ninja-Strike... Possible Team WangBang project...
Okay, now that I'm building Dust, chances are, for the first few phases of the map, I'm probably just gonna let it fly as a Capture the Flag map, since that's probably one of the only team modes that SW will let you do by default. I'm gonna have to figure out how to mod the hell out of the CTF code to make it play truer to the original CS version. Easier said than done.

CTF on Shadow Warrior was some great fun. Loved them.

SW does not have .CON files. For this to work, the source code would have to be majorly edited. |

I wouldnt get my hopes up, 8IronBob, and not to be confrontational, starts these projects all the time, usually only going as far as writing down his ideas and asking for help.
