Duke Nukem today
Tom Rhodes has drawn a couple video characters. One of them is our beloved Duke ("as he would be today"):

Check out his blog for more great cartoons (also an Octobrain!)

Hehe, some of those are pretty good

His octabrain actually looks a lot more like the original artwork than the Duke3D octabrains.

Sonic and Knuckles was the only one I lol'd on. Duke in shoes that look like Converse? no thx.'
Duke Today would just be Duke with a big grey beard, leather bike jacket over top his usual outfit. A bad back and him leaning on a cane.

We all have our moments man.

But seriously... That isn't a modern Duke Nukem at all.

This is a modern Duke Nukem:

Oh wait, that's just same ol' Duke Nukem. Oh, I get it! I'm very clever.

Let's see....Duke is wearing clothes that were popular in the early 1980's. Could it be that Rhodes is confused and thinks that Duke 3D came out in the 80's, rather than '96? It also appears that Duke has accumulated a lot of tattoos over the years, which is to be expected.
