Re: Shadow Warrior Re-texturing Project
Joe has said he will do everything he can to keep the forums up. However, if it becomes necessary I vote we move to duke4.net, as that seems to be where the Duke HRP project has decided on. Because the two projects are so closely related I think it's essential to keep them both in the same place.

Re: Shadow Warrior Re-texturing Project
The brick texture 0256 looks good but needs some touch-up. When it tiles together for a large wall area it gets a "wavey" look to it. You can see it in the first level on the wall with the tunnel in it. Its probably just adjusting the spacing on 1 or 2 of the bricks to fix it. Other than that, the texture of the bricks looks good.
And the headlight for the train looks a little plain. Possibly make a circular bracket or holder around the edge? I threw something together real quick just to show what I mean. Those tabs may not look right but just something on the outside so it doesn't look like the bulb is just floating in front of the panel on the train. Maybe a shroud cover?

Re: Shadow Warrior Re-texturing Project
I see what you mean about the waviness. I've shifted the rows of bricks around on 0256 to break up the repeating pattern formed from the grout lines. I had to tweak 4867 the correct it's brick pattern as well and to make the rubble look a bit more convincing. Lastly, I added a mounting trim ring to 2373.

Re: Shadow Warrior Re-texturing Project
Your pics are not showing up on the forum. Did you sign up yet over on Proasm's new forum for SW? We should be continuing there instead since this site will be shut down in the near future.

Re: Shadow Warrior Re-texturing Project
Sorry, your textures don't compare to your models. The one we have now is better.
1. Does not match original. (text too big/bar too small, shading, shitty yin-yang with lack of 3D curve and shitty straight line) 2. Nuke any reference to SWP, the HRP, or versions. 3. Incorrect resolution. Use 1600x1200, not 1280x960. |
