How do I get into this area below?

I have read the walkthroughs and they are vague on this area. Tells me to go left and kick something. What something? I have tried all up and down that area to kick my way in? what do I kick? Here is a screenshot of the area. It's part 2 of the 1st lvl.

ok, Image Shack doesn't paste properly. What can I use to paste the screenshot in this forum?

That's very interesting that u can upload the screenshot direct. Most forums only allow third party web hosting to to do it with.

iirc I think you have to throw a pipe bomb down there and blow up the barrel and it will blow a hole in the wall, then you will be able to get through.

Try that i think it the way i did it once.

PS. or slide underneath the AC and blow up the barrel to get out.

Yes, you kick as you go left, a sliding kick and you slide under and past the AC.
