Can someone give me detailed steps to find the Dopefish easter egg?

From what I've read online, at the last part of the rooftop chase, after the cutscene you turn around and jump down into the secret area, but all I can see is the basketball court I already ran through long before. The online text said something about getting the other side of a fence, but I can't find a way over it.

I'm pretty sure you have to go on a platform and jump down into the area. I think its near the part where you go up that elevator, near the open truck and the crate with the dead cop inside.

You were right - After the cutscene turn 90 degrees to your left and go along - when you can see the Basketball court - jump up onto the ledge and jump all the way along to the left-ish and get onto the left side of the wire fence... down below... there you can go through a door and find the dopefish easter egg.
