Anyways, there isnt really any evidence against them having organs except some sketchy lo-res art.

Yeah but worms just react to light and a change of humidity in the ground. In a way, they're a bit like robots because they just react to certain inputs and that's it - Whereas 'real' animals (I don't know what the word is in English to describe them but I mean animals like us humans) are more or less aware of their surroundings and each one of them can react to something differently. Of course they don't have the power to resist primal urges like OMG I WANT SEX

Many insects use the sum of their hosts body to produce everything. The Octabrain could easily mutate the mass of a person into its own body.

That's quite an interesting theory all that about the octabrains and slimers related. But I have some questions about that:
1. Why are there just female hosts in Duke Nukem 3D. And why are they all naked?
2. What about the pregnant woman in the 4th episode where she gives birth to the queen? I take it that's not from some slimer. Did she get "seeded" by an alien?

I had a little theory here and there a while ago, but it was just for fun purposes, and of course it doesn't make total sense. I thought that the women were taken by the aliens for sexual breeding purposes. The green slime we see and the ones wrapped around the women were like those tentacles you would see from a hentai. Then tentacles, while holding the women, would produce eggs. The eggs would then hatch and latch onto other's faces, probably males, and turn them into different things like the pig cop, liz troop, octabrain, etc. The women's eyes were red and would be pleading "kill me" because they are enslaved by the tentacles constantly breeding. This would explain why only the women, healthy looking women, were captured and naked. But then this would kinda ignore the wall charts in Area 51 level. But that came later anyways, as well as the pregnant woman who gave birth to the queen.

1- Only female hosts because males dont have wombs (I guess). Naked chicks rock, even for aliens.
2- The pregnant woman was probably already pregnant, then the baby was mutated by the aliens.

The Octabrains "lungs" are those brownish things on each side of it's head...

The brain might be altered in shape, so maybe somewhere in the middle, the rest of the necessary organs are (stomach, heart etc)

Another thing about the so called "eating out the brain then replacing it with the slimer brain" - You'll see slimers doing this to other enemies too but they just explode when eaten

So that can't be it, right? They also eat corpses so.. Wtf

I thought the slimers came from the babes. After all, normally when you see a babe there's at least 3 eggs around her. Are they all going to jump her and suck her brains out?
I thought the babes created the eggs from having contact with the green slime. Also, when the eggs hatch, they always go for everyone else except the babes.
The babes also say "Kill me". If their brains were sucked out, they wouldn't be able to say that. They would probably just get up and attack Duke (but then you'd have naked women enemies in Duke 3D..)
The fact that their eyes are red and they can say "Kill me" probably means their being forced to help in producing eggs and are tamed into doing it. Kinda like milking a cow with a machine.

Well, I suggested that the women are like "food" (or maybe water in plant terms) for the green slime, which help create the eggs. In terms of pregnant women clothed, I actually now recall Duke Nukem 64.

In Duke Nukem 64, all the slime babes were covered with clothes. And the hanging women were in pieces, I guess that would suggest that the women to get pregnant like in Aliens, but does this board apply to Duke Nukem 64 concepts too?

Duke64 women are clothed since Nintendo is pretty much strict on adultery. They don't want kids to have games with naked babes on the N64 now, would they?

Besides, you can save those N64 babes anyway, so it's not a prob.

I came up with another theory that might work.

Maybe the babes that sit there naked lure men in. And with all those eggs around, while the person is distracted by the woman, the slimers hatch and latch onto their face. That could explain why there are so many eggs around one female. Only other theory to explain that is that she's there producing the eggs.

Ever notice that there are several types of women, but some of them have panties on?

I don't think the aliens realise or want to exploit the "man must protect sexy women so they can have sex later" thing. It's evil allright, but with little point.

The thing that the queen is given birth from a women may indicate more then we think.

First off, why would aliens attack Earth? Simple: to get biological samples.

Minerals? Could be gotten from space derbis and dead planets with far less of a hassle.
Artifacts? There was no digging activity, and if so, why attack the entire Earth for an object? Or objects for that matter. Also, woudn't humanity find these objects if its precious enough for aliens to attack Earth?

None else makes sense, but to get biological samples.

The Queen emerged from a human womb. Inidicating that the aliens NEED humans for some reason. And what better reason there is besides reproduction? The human egg cell has something that the aliens need.

After all, reproducing cells is very difficult with biotechnology, and egg cells are night-impossible.

So the males are killed or mutated, and the women are captured for no other purpose then to be used for reproduction. As the aliens either evolved/mutated/got geneticly engineered beyond the point that they cannot reproduce themselves or are "merely" experimenting with humans.

Second.
Now the octobrain...I think there is something missing here.

First off, how to do grunts and the LARP fit into the picture? Could they be early evulutionary states or something totally different? It would be sense.
Take a male -> mutate it -> make it loyal to the alien colony/hive/cause -> wait till they evolve, meanwhile send them out there to do stuff and equip them with jetpack and laser pistol for protection -> octobrain (which is a more powerful version then the grunt, both can fly, and the octobrain is more powerful and doesn't need a weapon).

Also, the conclusion that Altered Reality makes is based on the DNF 2001 trailer. The games are different, and we might be fighting a wholely different alien race then the last.
