yea, Valve really screwed with L4D & L4D2 thing. Ported meele system from HL2 and will take money for that. It's like selling a mod.

Shame that most of thier customers are just really stupid and will buy anything they put out. L4D2 is proof of that, they are also really vicious basement dwellers as well. The moment they read a negative comment about Valve or any of thier games they instantly foam at the mouth thinking of all sorts of ways to harrass the poster.

Go to steampowered forums and see all the nasty posts they do in the L4D1 and 2 sections.

Nothing from l4d to l4d2 was ported
both games are on the same game engine ( source )
