I've been wanting to post something like this for nearly two years. [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] At least I put it all in one place, instead of spreading it all over the forums.

I really don't give a rat's ass if I get flamed for it, or get kicked for it.

If DNF gets released and it kicks ass, nobody is going to give a shit about all the crybaby posts, trolls and flames that have been posted here the last 2-3 years. We'll all be too busy playing DNF.

If DNF gets released and it sucks, or if it gets cancelled, I don't think anyone will give a shit, either. If anything, we'll all feel pretty stupid for hanging around on this messageboard for so long.

I don't have a problem with people that post anti-3DRealms opinions in a civilized manner. Hell, there are quite a few anti-3DRealms opinions I could post, but there's not much point in doing it, although I have discussed such opinions with people IRL.

However, most of the anti-3DRealms postings I see here are blatant whining or trolling. Anyone that uses terms like "fanboy", "gayboy", or "asskisser" automatically loses credibility with me and goes into my mental killfile.

My original post was in response to a previous round of whining and trolling. One of the members responsible got himself banned and all his posts deleted for advocating that DNF be pirated.

The problem is, even people who do argue against DNF in any way in a civilized manner get jumped on in the same way as idiots who blatantly come to this UBB to flamebait 3DR or their fans.

Because I refuse to believe that there are so many people who express such "strong concerns" for a mere computer game's progress, yet there isn't a single one among them who has the I.Q. above that of a Cray Fish and can put together a decent, credible arguement. They all take the same retarded tone, the same stupid approach.

The only notable exception I've seen so far is OpFor, who has time and again put his point across in a sincere manner. I may not agree with him, but I do respect his opinion and treat him thusly.
