Keen Gun Marathon//Max
I think I'll just bump this thread in the future instead of starting new ones from now on. That sound like a deal?

To bring you all up to speed (and to let you know that I'm not a spammer):
Marathon//Max is a one-man total conversion for Remedy's Max Payne 2 (MAX-FX) engine that introduces elements inspired by Bungie's Marathon games.

Just uploaded a new deathmatch video of Marathon//Max to Gametrailers. It's embedded in my development blog:

http://marathonmax.blogspot.com

You might have to scroll down a bit to find it.

Any insight, questions, comments, quandaries, and jabbering would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey man, I loved the Marathon series. The project looks promising and I hope to get my hands on this later.

Looks awesome!

Looks awesome indeed! Level textures really seem oldschool! Nice, only one thing you may need get those textures strechted out abit, I can see repeating tiling, this might also get better with some good lighting settings

Thanks, everybody. What exactly do you mean by 'good lighting settings', Kozak?

New video up.

Youtube version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4oXt1NSRaA
High quality version (606 mb): http://www.filesavr.com/mmaxtrailer260fpsmp3

You might need xvid codecs for the high-quality video if you're only getting sound. Go here to get them:

Any sort of feedback at all would be appreciated.

Never played Marathon properly (I've always been a PC gamer), but that DM video looks really sweet!

Looks really fun - seems like you've put tons of work into it. I see you got the scoreboard stuff working well, too.
