Does anyone know how I can get to the cross hair art file??

I'd like to change it to a dot instead of a cross.

It's tile number 2523, so either change it in the art tile's or define it in a def file with a replacement texture.

e.g.

texture 2523 { pal 0 { file "location to file/file" } }

Now, do you know how I could recompile this into duke3d.grp so I can use the software rendered to have the dot reticle????

Find the programs, DukeRES and GrpStudio. You should find them on the RTCM.

I tried messing around, replaced the 3D Realms screen of Atomic Edition, with the Shadow Warrior 3D Realms screen...and when it appears, it's like the color information was garbled.

But, I did get the dot reticle.

That's because they use different palettes. I never really figured out how to get the right palettes for those unique title screen graphics.
