I would imagine quite a number of people and then they'll always have the visitors spiking up just before an expo or convention. same goes for the number of fakes, which we encountered some already - like the announcement of HL3 and now Duke

For some reason I'm having trouble finding the latest picture of Duke that was posted here some months before the trouble with Take 2 happened. I think the picture was taken from an article or something (can't recall).
It's the one where he has his sunglasses on and I think you only see him from the chest up, and his appearance in that shot seems to be much more accurate to how Duke looks than was shown in the earlier weight lifting video that was released. It's a rather small picture. Can someone please post it here? ![]()

It might be the high polygon master model, but the in-game model should be pretty close to that in appearance. As Duke Nukem Forever is going to have very nice graphics (as we've seen from the screen shots), no doubt using a variety of methods to bring as much of the high polygon model detail to the in-game model as they can.
![]() Also, the key feature of the new model in that picture isn't just it's very high overall quality, but the fact that they have corrected errors in Duke's appearance that could be seen in the weight lifting video, such as his nose and upper lip area. These are now much more accurate to Duke's actual appearance in the new model, a huge improvement. ![]()

Guys I'm posting this via phone so I can't submit photos, have any of you noticed the graphical glitches of monsters in the jace hall show? The part where monsters running into duke inside the cave, and in later scenes too, the monsters have graphical glitches, the type of glitches you get from a faulty driver or too much overclocking? I wonder if it really is a driver issue or were they pushing there hardware too much? And how come nobody noticed this before?

I do know the video is old, all I'm saying is, since this is the image analyzing thread after all, how come nobody noticed these glitches? And just out of curiousity, the next question that comes to my mind, naturally, is what could be the reason behind these glitches? But yeah, all these questions are useless right now as we all are looking at PAX..

Yeah exactly, huge artifacts on those pig cop models.. Though there are scenes where they don't exist, could it be that duke's graphics was so resource hungry at that time, they needed to overclock the rig a lot to make the game playble, so much that it produced artifacts?

I find it sad that they went back to the over the top almost cartoony duke model as in the wallpapers Kaisersoze posted...
The model form the 2007 teaser was absolutely perfect, the tweaks made resulting in the pictures hidden in Duke 3d live arcade was just perfect... sad and bad decision to change it to this IMO...
