Urban Legends in DNF.
I'm not american, but I know, that there's a lot of so-called "Urban Legends". Some of them are really fables, but people believe in them
I think, it's a good idea to include some of them in DNF. For example, it would be cool to find Elvis Presley caught by aliens, rescue him and listen to his songs |

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
I'd love to hear Elvis sing in the game. But it would have to be a made up song.
I got it, Big Foot! He's really a wild hippy who hasn't shaven. |

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
If a car's driving without it's lights at night and you do nothing, it just passes by. But, if you flash your lights at it, the occupants open up on you and Duke has to teach them a lesson.

oh man, you know what would be cool and it's already been mentioned: early in the game, duke takes a baby alligator and flushes it down the toilet. later in the game when he's in the sewers, he comes across a big ass alligator.

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
Somewhere in the sewers Duke finds old, rusty, military-like bunker, filled with the retro-style monitors, computers and other electronic equipment. And one very, very old man inside... Howard Huges. Howard monitors entire city and collects the information for blackmail. Huges believe that Cold War is still continues, and all this pigcops, octobrains and battlelors is the soviet invasion. Duke replies: "You are more behind the time than 3DR fellows, old timer."

Good thinking Gump. How about your'e in a desserted area and you come across a car and there is a teenage couple dead inside, on the door hangs a bloody hook. . .

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
In the original legend, the couple is making out in the car when they hear a report on the radio about a murderer with a hook for a hand on the loose in the area. The girl wants to leave, but the guy wants to keep doing what they're doing. She keeps insisting, and he finally gets angry, starts the car and speeds off towards her house. When she gets out, she finds the hook hanging off the door handle--ripped off the killer when the guy took off.

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
Mutated sewer alligators can be a new enemie, but if it's to late it can be just a one time event, at least the one that you flushed into the toilet

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
How about you go in a house and there is teenage babysitter stoned out of her mind and when you go upstairs you see there is a turkey in the babycrib. That was a popular urban legend back in the day.

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
A casual house and it's yards are surrounded by a 12 feet high wall with a closed gate with a signboard hanging written "Area 51". When you walk past this house on the streets, a huge sound occurs, you look towards the house and see an UFO taking off from that yard.

Can DNF be considered an urban legend in itself?

Re: Urban Legends in DNF.
Hmmm A: You could blow santa clause out of the sky
B: You could find a gangster hide out underneath a mormon church C: An indian burial ground underneath a spanish mission could have interesting application D: How about a record studio with a african american that has a bandana twisted infront talking to an overweight african american that is wearing a suit. E: Oh and how about being able to eat pop rocks and soda or seeing somebody doing it then having their head explode. |
