Dukematches on XBLA

I never played Dukematches on the original DOS Duke 3D because I did not have a networked PC at the time.

These are a few things I have noticed about playing Duke on XBLA.

It is very reminiscent of Quake I & II where the players skip around and are hard to hit. I guess I am more used to modern shooters of the Quake 3/Unreal Tournament and forward era. Kind of hard to get used to and I rarely score more that 3 to 4 kills. At that rate I may never join the 200/200 club.

Some people act like real retards on the microphone. I am not a big headset user, so I rarely have it plugged in. I use it for team games, but I rarely use it for deathmatch games. Do we really need people screaming into the microphone and repeating Duke one-liners like little children? I swear I was playing against Beavis and Butthead a few days ago. Giggling & snickering and then cursing up a storm. Is there a way to mute these clowns from my TV speaker?

Other than those gripes, I am enjoying the game. Best 800 Microsoft points I ever spent.

You can mute all incoming voice via the Xbox dashboard.

Thats on all multiplayer games. There's always bunny hoppers and mic spammers. There just dumb teen demographic of xbla.

If you cant be bothered to mute each and every person you meet, just plug your mic in but leave it on your lap, that way you wont hear them and they wont come out your tv,
thats what I do, I hate people who just scream and shout

also might be in the thread I forget, turn auto aim ON, I turned it off for the SP, and damn near forget to turn it on for MP. Auto aim is a pet peeve of mine, but if you DON'T have it on for MP, your putting yourself at a disadvantage.

I also WILL never get the 200 Gamerscore points, I will not put in the time when getting 1-2 kills per game, I'm happy at 150.
