Personally, I really have to say it looks quite outstanding! The hair, facial expressions and overall look of Nigel Billing is fantastic! Feel free to discuss…

Hah, no way.. Max's shoes just look like the ones from MP1, so it looks like you're going for the classic look which in my opinion is a good thing

The whole production looks professional and i'm sure it will be very popular when you release it, i'll be sure to show as many people as i can. So, keep it up guys! Your hard work is definately appreciated!

Nice shots. Although I am not too familiar with "promo shots". Are these shots taken directly from the movie, or they are just from separate photoshoots, with a lot of photoshoping? Anyways, it looks good, keep going..

Also, I want to see Bravura.

You're right, we did publicise a summer release, but alas things have been inevitably delayed. Expect a Christmas release - Our gift to you.

The shots were taken during an independent photoshoot and the scenes depicted do not necessarily represent the content of this film. Also, Bravura won't be featuring in this part, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the questions and the support.

Max is looking cool enough.. Why is it full of new characters though Jessica Logan? Clarence Volpé? Can't you just use names from the game or something? I don't know - Making a Max Payne movie which has nothing in common with the game apart from Max (character-wise) strikes to me as being odd.

edit: BTW, I've read that Mona Sax' part (if she's actually in the movie) will be played by Brenna Lee Roth. (The sister of Amy Lee Roth, the pornstar )
The source isn't very reliable though (youtube) so that's why I'm having my doubts

I firstly want to point out that we have nothing to do with the official, Hollywood movie, so if they are casting the relatives of porn stars, then hey, whatever floats their boat.

Secondly, I'm sorry if you don't like new characters or new storylines, but this film is full of them! I should clarify that it is set between the first and second games, so Mona isn't around, having been killed off at the end of the first game . Also, the writer/director thought it would be more effective to create an original storyline, which means new characters - however I can assure you that Max's history is not discounted, and what happened in the first game may feature in later parts, as well as previous characters.

Anywho, just imagine it as a chapter in the life & times of Max Payne, which introduces new and engaging characters for him to interact with (just as Sam Lake did in the second game, ref Det. Winterson).

Thanks!

You've probably played the second game so you know you're wrong

I actually think (hope) that this movie will attract non-gamers to the Max Payne universe but I think it'd be a bit of a bummer if it were characters that aren't in the game that drew them towards this.

Thing is Winterson was the only (correct me if I'm wrong) new major character in MP2, whereas in your movie it seems like none of the characters of the game are in it it apart from Max, of course.

I should probably see the movie first before judging but I just don't like it when a movie based on something leaves out characters from what it's based on. Well, they can leave out one or two stupid ones but as for the rest - bring it yo

Install Quicktime, or the quicktime alternative codecs.

So there's going to be 2 Max Payne movies?

Actuallt yhis is episode 3 of 6 which makes one movie. And there might be a hollywood film of MP in the makes yes. So that indeed makes 2, but one is independant.

Well I guess you'd want to use something else if you really have to do "heavy" editing but WMM serves me good enough.
