Duke MP sound files
How can I rip sound files, including Duke's quotes from the Duke Manhattan Project CD?

Go into C:/Program Files/Duke Nukem Manhattan Project/duke/base, open the db_e01-08.zipfs files (yes, they can be opened with winzip or any unzipping program), extract the musc & sounds folder in each one. All music & sound files are in ogg format.

I've extracted all episode zipfs files into the duke/base folder, so I can access all the files easily. But I didn't delete the zipfs files though. If I put in newer file(s), the game engine would detect that.

Which program is able to play these sound files? They didn't work in Windows Media Player and Movie Maker.

Do I have to use libogg-1.3.0 or something to play these files? I don't even know how to use it since the readme.txt of that program is unclear to me. Also, it doesn't look like a Windows compatible program. Any guidance?

Look on the bottom for 3rd party programs. Winamp already plays OGG files.

If you want, you can convert them to other formats.

Yes, I used Winamp and they worked.
