...and l'm all out of gum eh. So the countdown is for what then? Wouldn't be until some supposed release date as 'only merchandising will save duke.' I'm from the other side of the world, how much longer until E3 is over? All this hoping is making me hungry. :P

Well if that's the case it might pay to extend the expirey on saveduke.com... As hopeful as I am I'm still a little pesimistic as far as seeing it in the near future.

It's just so you can register a domain without revealing your name, address and phone number.

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

To me too. Who would want his name revealed when scamming people for their money?

The merchandis is baaad. Really bad.
It's just a standard typography. Not even artwork or anything I'd want to spend money on .... or even wear in public.
Everything else about the website screams 'scam' as well. t's ust too unprofessional.

Eh, I didn't bother clicking the link.

It's probably not a scam, I'm sure cafepress really does send that stuff out.

However, it won't save duke at all, I'm sure.

It looks like just a scam to try and get money out of people on these forums. Claiming to try and save duke while he/she gets all the cash

Doesn't surprise me.. I have a friend that ran up $72,000 in credit card debt. That rolling interest was steamrolling right over the top of him, his wife, and their two kids. He told me that between his morgage and bills (including the credit card payments) he was paying out $7,000 a month. This he filled me in on when his job got outsourced.

I damn near sh**! It boggled my mind that he and his wife were managing that at all. Insanity.

Most people get into that sort of mess by using one credit card to pay the minimum payment on another and so on. But it always catches up with you sooner or later as it's a losing game.

Yeah. That is really insane. I wonder how many credit cards someone needs in order to have $72,000 in credit cards anyway.

I dunno about there, but where I live, paying one credit card with another (balance transfer) is considered a cash advance, and is charged daily compounded interest, so even faster debt.
