Part III Level VIII (New York Minute-Mode)
Hi folks,

new to this forum since today, have been a huge Max Payne fan ever since. Played the game succesfully in every possible mode - except for the "New York Minute"-Mode, which I recently tackled for the first time.

I finally got stuck in Part III Level VIII: Pain and Suffering: The 1 minute they give you in the beginning of the level just does not seem enough: I wait until the helicopter flies away, but even before the door opens (with two thugs waiting behind) I always run out of time, no matter how quick I kill the first 4 bad guys of the level ...

Does anyone have an idea how to beat this?

Re: Part III Level VIII (New York Minute-Mode)
Hi Walking Alone:

I recently had to completely redo my laptop, i.e. lost all my Max Payne savegames.

However, just before that I found out - obviously in a moment of complete desperation - that the window shutters will close much earlier by permanently shooting at the helicopter's rotor blades (instead of simply waiting for it to fly away after a minute or so). Seems that this is the idea behind it when they give you only 1 minute at the start of this level ... So I finally was able to finish the game in the New York Minute-Mode, thank god.

Neverthelss thanks a lot for your offer to help!

Best regards
