Sound in Apogee Sidecrollers Aren't Working
This is very strange. Awhile ago, when I first installed them, the sound of the Apogee games I bought worked just fine. Now, for some reason, the sound functions are all screwed up, and sounds are either missing or or not playing at all. Even in the game that rely on only speaker sound have sounds missing. I tried to adjust the IRQ, though I feel I'm navigating blind, because I don't know what to do. I tried even reinstalling one of the games, and the sound is still messed up.

Would changes in drivers cause the sound of my games to get screwed up, by any chance?

There's no setup file available for any of the games I am playing.

For more information, the games in question are Duke Nukem 1+2, Cosmo, Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, and Commander Keen 1-3+4-5, and I bought them all directly from the 3D Realms store. Can you help me?

I do have DOSbox. If you think that will improve it some, then I'll do it. I think that recent updates and registry/virus fixings on my computer might have messed up how it should work. Either will do. Thanks.
