... there'd be the scene with Killian saying, "I'm the Mandarin!", whereafter he isn't whacked by Pepper Potts, but rather blasted by Ben Kingsley, showing up as, in fact, the real Mandarin, with 10 magical rings and all, prompting a cheer from the audience and some commentary from it on how the twist was lame and how the movie just got a whole lot more fun, as there's this super-awesome fight - the Mandarin vs. Iron Man; magic vs. tech.

Even as a non-fan of Iron Man, and someone who hadn't known about the character "the Mandarin" until I saw the trailer for the movie, I was disappointed with the route they took. Would've loved to see Kingsley get to play an actual villain, and he had pretty cool lines that never even made it into the film. "Do you want an empty life, or a meaningful death?" Really, I'd much rather watch the trailer over and over for 2 hours than rewatch the actual film.
