I'm working on then level where they refule the chopper a the small abandond airfield at the moment, but thanks for your continued interest mate...

Well Goldsrc and source are supported by Valve. MAX-FX is unsupported. If something like the vista issue came up in their engine, Valve would fix it.

Now I've been working on a left 4 dead campaign for a the past few months which is nearly complete, I think that after I'll try this maxED level editor. Max payne 1 engine looks really awesome and more manageable since you dont have to be a 3ds max expert to make props , you can make them right in the editor.
I'll look forward to trying your mod, there was recently a simliar mod called dead before dawn for left 4 dead, but the creators didn't really re-create dead before dawn as the storyline at all. Your mod looks more like the movie.

I don't really know what post you were replying to there mate, it must have been way back, but I can't remember it.

Anyway, yes MaxEd is a kool editor to make mods with, & for exactly the reason you mention, but if you are going to start to mod with maxED, I'd suggest you go for the more advance MaxEd (2), engine that was used in the making of Max Payne 2......

Is the map editor you use the same as Hammer editor, source SDK.

Sorry about the very long wait for an update on this mod but i've been seriously i'll, but hopefully i'm on the mend now.

Hi mate,

It's great to here from you again after such a long time.

Good news, i'm still with the living, or at least I think I am lol, and yes I still work on this mod from time to time, but just lately my work on it has mostly been confined to testing out some new programming. You know, to try and see if I can make the MaxEd engine do things that many have said can't be done, and with some success I might add.

However, at the moment i'm also having to contend with a long drawn out court case as I'm trying to get custody of my children as their mother has been abusing them, so ,as you can imagine, this hasn't left me with much time to work on this mod just lately, or even the enthusiasm to even want to do so at the moment, but wish me luck, and thankyou for your continued interest in my work, and I hope that you and your family have a Great Christmas and a Happy Newyear.....
