Help with ROTT problems
Anyone,
* When i go to sndsetup. I can setup my sound fine. But when i go to setup the music. it exits and i get this warning: "You cannot run this graphics application in a window. The application will be suspended until you switch it to full screen by pressing Alt-Enter. Check the properties to ensure they are correct." * I even went to props, checked the tab Screen and checked marked usage full- screen. What the hell do i do to make it work??Please help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Help with ROTT problems
Doesn't sound like a problem with ROTT, but a problem with Windoze. Did you hit "Alt+Enter" to run it in full screen? If that didn't work, do Start->Run, and type command and hit enter.
It'll load up a DOS box, go to your ROTT directory, make sure the window is in full screen (Alt+Enter) and then run sndsetup. That SHOULD do the trick... ------------------ -Steve http://stevenvi.cjb.net |

Re: Help with ROTT problems
I dunno, this sounds like what usually happens when ROTT crashes in Win9X (which is quite often). Remember, ROTT wasn't made to support Windows, so there's a good chance that (like me) you'll have to resort to running it in DOS mode...

there are 2 suggestions, 1. if you're running anything lower than v1.3, try upgrading it with the 1.3 patch in www.3drealms.com/downloads there is an installing program also there, try using that if the upgrading doesn't solve the problem. ------------------ "It wasn't supposed to turn out like this.." Re: Help with ROTT problems
Nah moonbuzz, tried all those ages ago, didn't solve anything, so I simply use it in DOS mode only. Used to get it on my old PC as well...
