Was looking around my HD today at some hardly used directories, and look what I found!

That was also when the UBB software was free, too. Had more limitations, and I killed threads that were that long, because each page view was created dynamically by the CGI script, not just stored on an HTML page like they are now. The quote function wasn't there then either. ------------------ Joe Siegler 3D Realms Entertainment http://www.3drealms.com http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/faq.html (For info on using this UBB)

Whoah! That was before my time... I can see some weird names in that thread. It looks as though guest69 had fun at the end...
I like the way the boards are now... I would've never joined if it wasn't so good. It'll bring back memories for the people with the familiar names that I saw there. -MAffU All the pain has gone away in all the words we love to say... |

Wow . . . a mere two months before my time . . . how strange . . . I seem to remember posting something in the topic, and then it disappeared? I musta' seen a "re-incarnation."

Ah, the infamous Space Station thread. I think that was even before I was here. Maybe even before Aurora51... .

HA! In the past couple months, I can recall twice being accused of being the one responsible for the SS thread, and now I have proof of my innocence.

Yeah, I do, but most of them are stupid things like people pretending to be various employees of other gaming companies, warez stuff, nothing quite like this, although I'll take a look. ------------------ Joe Siegler 3D Realms Entertainment http://www.3drealms.com http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/faq.html (For info on using this UBB)

I remember someone tried to pretend he was Tim Sweeney of Epic, or something. I think he (the impersonator) insulted DNF, dunno for sure.
But nodody believed him, thank god. |

Dee-am!
Who is Lokes and KillBurn and who is FooFighter and BADGER? Just kiddin. But I knew it - the hype of the Space Stations thread made the real thing not as great. Great nonetheless, but not as good. I'm saving it, though... ------------------ Draco - Man of Dishonor Visit Draco's Homezone at www.come.to/Lord_Draco/

I renamed this thread to Space Stations II, since it's technically a continuance of the old thread from the old server.

Makes you wish you had said something, now that it's being brought up almost a year and a half later, doesn't it . I think slaybak left for good awhile ago. SirWinner still posts here (usually just in the Software Forum) like once a month. Must be pretty busy.
