Question about Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition or Duke Nukem 3D
Hello everyone! XD I only have two questions. The first being, when I first installed DN3D-Atomic on my PC, it ran fine. No sound or video lags. I have since had to reinstall my OS and everything, but I never updated any hardware in the PC itself. Now, there's a slight video lag. What could have caused this and how could I fix this? Secondly, I have two USB controllers, one being a Gravis Gamepad Pro, second being just an off brand one. I'd prefer to have the Gravis Gamepad Pro working but I can't seem to get it to. I set the controls to keyboard and controller/gamepad. Someone please help! I'd love to experience the epic greatness which is Duke Nukem once again!

To answer your first question:
I'm guessing you're just installing the DOS version directly from the CD on your windows machine, correct?

The easiest way to fix this is to download the windows version of Duke Nukem 3D. A port. I recommend eDuke32. Download it and enjoy Duke.

To answer your second question:
eDuke32 may have better control pad support, I am not sure. If not, I recommend downloading Xpadder. This will allow you to play ANY PC game with a control pad.
