Sure, I'll bite. I run Prey at max settings, 1440x900x32, 16HQAA, 2xFSAA

Results:Pretty retarded that they'd not post a timedemo. which is what i expected. Screw installing that crap.

but anywho the lowest i saw my framerate drop to was 25fps. and only in one place..

Specs:

There should be an option to run the demo 3 times. The first time it really stutters. Also, I noticed that the prey demo actually feels smoother then the full retail version. Anyone know why this is ?

Bah. "Please install the retail version of Prey."

Must be because I bought and d/led Prey from Triton. Maybe I'll be able to run this later on when offline play is enabled.

Re: The Benchmarking thread
you try rebooting ? Lower the resolution from 1024x768 to 640x480. See if your video card is bottle necking you. Put Anisotropic filtering at 0x

Ram timings are pretty relaxed at the moment 3,4,4,9 should be 3,4,3,8 at 250 MHz in SPD, but not had time to 'fiddle' yet.
Driver is supposed to support @Prey Demo', and as it's based on Doom3 engine (I think !?!) shouldn't it support SLi
Apart from CPU, RAM & FSB, everything else is stock speed/settings.
Looks good, and plays super smooth at 1280x1024 4xA 8xAA

Results just seem below par compared to others, I've tried reboots and multiple runs, but the results are always the same - ho hum...

Hmm, After I installed this and used it I thought everything was fine!

Later I try to play MP and did not see any servers so I thought the master may have went down?

Looked in my base folder to see that my autoexec.cfg was gone?

So anyway made a new autoexec with the masterserver address and then try again and still no luck.

Did a system restore to just before install of this benchmark program and reboot and then go to see all is fine in the master server browser so?

I dont know if the master went down for awhile or if this benchmark program messed up my base but I think it deleted my autoexec.cfg for sure!

On both my server PC and my client side PC I had to do a system restore to before install of this benchmark in order to see the master server browser again or to run my server to get a heartbeat! Also had to re enter my key?

Ok, I'm getting close to my max here, with OC'd mobo, mem, cpu, quad disk stripe, and finally the Graphics - Geforce 7950 GX2, 580 MHz core, 1600 MHz mem.

3DMARK 2006 Score 8711

Shader Detail: Highest
Aspect Ratio: [4:3]
Antialiasing: 4×
Anisotropic filtering: 16×

A drop of 25.1 frames.

TIP: Run the benchmark on low screen resolution first, before the final run for your score - I got some very bizzare (and low) scores until I noticed this...
