The first time it really stutters. Also, I noticed that the prey demo actually feels smoother then the full retail version. Anyone know why this is ?

Bah. "Please install the retail version of Prey."
Must be because I bought and d/led Prey from Triton. Maybe I'll be able to run this later on when offline play is enabled. |

Re: The Benchmarking thread
you try rebooting ? Lower the resolution from 1024x768 to 640x480. See if your video card is bottle necking you. Put Anisotropic filtering at 0x

Driver is supposed to support @Prey Demo', and as it's based on Doom3 engine (I think !?!) shouldn't it support SLi Apart from CPU, RAM & FSB, everything else is stock speed/settings. Looks good, and plays super smooth at 1280x1024 4xA 8xAA Results just seem below par compared to others, I've tried reboots and multiple runs, but the results are always the same - ho hum... |

Re: The Benchmarking thread
Hmm, After I installed this and used it I thought everything was fine!
Later I try to play MP and did not see any servers so I thought the master may have went down? Looked in my base folder to see that my autoexec.cfg was gone? So anyway made a new autoexec with the masterserver address and then try again and still no luck. Did a system restore to just before install of this benchmark program and reboot and then go to see all is fine in the master server browser so? I dont know if the master went down for awhile or if this benchmark program messed up my base but I think it deleted my autoexec.cfg for sure! On both my server PC and my client side PC I had to do a system restore to before install of this benchmark in order to see the master server browser again or to run my server to get a heartbeat! ![]()

To make my results more 'legit' I decided to take a screenshot instead of typing in my results,I ran the benchmark with the settings I played through the game with, in case anyone was wondering I used a custom res due to my monitor being 16:10 aspect ratio:
