Prey 360 Demo Now available on Xbox Live Marketplace

We've just gotten word that the Demo for Prey is up and live on Xbox Live Marketplace. Go get it! Here's the official Press Release from 2K about the demo's availability:

Xbox Live(r) Marketplace is now featuring a playable demo of PREY(tm), the heavily anticipated first person shooter for Xbox 360(tm) and PC. PREY literally turns the FPS genre upside-down by introducing innovative gameplay elements such as wall-walking, gravity flipping, and portals that allow enemies to appear out of thin air.

Special thanks to the Prey community and fans for being as patient as they were when we missed the date for the demo.

I'd also like to offer BIG thanks to Microsoft for making an exception and posting the demo on a Friday. Eager gamers will now have the demo in their hands for the long Holiday weekend. Stop giving Major Nelson a hard time!

Saweet! Guess I'll be d/ling it overnight, not too much time now to do anything... Hopefully it won't be too long of a night for me, and then I can get home, pop the X360 power button, get onto Xbox Live, and get this thing on the HDD. For 1.17 GB on a 256K cable connection, that may take until the afternoon to successfully get itself in playable form. Better hope it's not gonna be that super long...

I got home about 30 minutes ago, just taking a lunch break. I sat down, turned on my Xbox 360 and just decided to see if Microsoft might shock us with the release of the Prey demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace on a Friday. When I saw it, I almost had a heartattack. I am so happy that I actually have the demo now that it makes me want to play it even more. I am so glad that I held off playing it on PC, and already am finishing downloading it, but unforunately I have to go back to work in 10 minutes, and won't be back until 7 tonight.

Just to make my last post clear, I have the Prey Demo downloaded at 100% on my Xbox 360. I am just going to grab a bit to eat and will be on playing it, for those that want to play with me for about 5 minutes before I have to get back to work (to finish paying off the Collector's Edition of Prey) fell free to sent me a friend request or message to Lt Poot.
