Best live match ever
I had just played a match on live hoping that it would show that it was a worthy replacement for split screen, and while at first it was entertaing it did not replace the need for local.
The truly interesting part of the match wasn't the speed or any of the crap I would love from this game, it was interesting because my opponent was an individual who according to his profile had been offline for the past hour. After some "wtf lol" I decided enough was enough and quit, anyone else have a "wtf lol" moment of this game? On a side note: since this game screwed me over, can anyone tell me about the PS port of Duke 3d mainly on wheter or not it had split screen and how the controls were. Where they like this version' aiming controls or like DN64's inverted, constantly recentering crap. |

Re: Best live match ever
About your side note: I never checked for splitscreen, but I do remember the controls suck. They were just absolutely terrible. None of the 3 or 4 availble configs even made sense to use.

Re: Best live match ever
The player's horrible connection to the game made them being offline a little strange, I am well aware you can set that but this guy had the worst connection I have run into.
Edit: Well after hearing about the playstation port, my duke playing is screwed. |

Re: Best live match ever
Appearing offline does not make you lag. He just had a bad connection, that's all.
