Heh. Personally, my first thought when I heard that Prey was going to be on Steam was that 2K had opted to do that instead of sending out all of the boxed copies (since nobody in North America had reported receiving one yet). It's nice to see that they've all been sent out anyway.

still waiting ,but, Joe, you did say that they will send a boxed copy to the guys from the THE SHOWDOWN LAN PARTY in CALIFORNIA.. I tried my cd key at steam it wont work say INVALID KEY ..Humm just asking for more info or can you give me directions in getting answers?? PLZ

I can't answer any of that. 3DR does not have access to the customer records. You need to talk to Obwando about it. His info is elsewhere in this thread (Look at Page 21, assuming your pagination values are default).

Recieved a note today (13/12/2006) from the post office about a package from 2K in New York (that's quite a distance), where they ask for an invoice detailing the price so they can determine how much customs I have to pay
Guess I'll head out tomorrow and tell them it's free and to hand it over or I'll go postal

I didn't receive my retail boxed copy and I can't find any e-mail from Triton with the activation key for Prey though I filed every e-mail from Triton. So I can't use my paid copy of Prey. I wrote you an e-mail to help me in this situation.

Why would you delete that email? That doesn't make much sense to me. It contained your KEY!

Also, I just checked with Royal, he's still answering emails about this. The email you're supposed to be sending to is thebox@obwando.com. Make sure you're using the right one.

Now I got an answer and a new key. Thanks, now my Prey is playable again.
