Wombat Game tools?
I found some posts about the Wombat Game tools and that you can get the Hocus Pocus music files with it, but none of the links work, or it gives an error that vcl60.bpl is missing.

Szevvy used to have another page as well, which was obviously more up to date than this page because about a year ago I got Wombat v0.5 and this page only has 0.4a.

Szevvy had to move his website because his old domain name expired. I had a copy of wombat 0.4a at the time and asked him if there was a newer version. He said that he didn't think so, but that he thought there might be a version 0.5. Do you still have wombat 0.5? Can you email it to me (or to Szevvy, for that matter)? (You can get my email address from my website.)

Wasn't this version 0.5 the beta version with Tyrian support and no other games?

0.5 was broken, and didn't draw EGA images. The only changes were very limited support for Master Of Orion 3 - 0.4a is the most recent stable working version. My computer is currently offline (Spyware trashed) but when I get a new box progress will continue.

Let me know when you begin progress again. I have an update for Hocus Pocus support. In the current version, under level data in the .dat file, tiles for levels 37-72 should be renamed to tiles_3 1-36 respectively. They are an overlay for tiles. With tiles_2, they are the effect tiles.

Edit: Oh yeah, tiles 73-108 are most likely another overlay. Leaving 3 overlays and 1 effect per level.

Re: Wombat Game tools?
I happen to know Szevvy, and this page is the up-to-date one. V0.5 (which I still have) is the same as V0.4b, except V0.4b is slightly more stable. The version number is based on % completed, so as Szevvy adds more to do, the version decreases.

If there are any more questions about WombatGT, i'd be happy to answer them!

I can't find a download page for the current version. There is one page he has at a University but I need a student login for that university in order to access webpages posted by their students. DOH! Anyone else lucky enough to get the latest version of Wombat Game Tools?
