Re: New mod for ROTT
Sounds interesting. Is it compatible with the latest version of WinRottGL or it's using something else?

Re: New mod for ROTT
Nice! I did expect a bit more new stuff from a mod (hopefully it will crop up in the future), but at any rate, it would be interesting to replay the original with tweaked weapons balance.
TBH, when I played ROTT for the first time, it was a bit unusual for me that the bullet weapons had infinite ammo, as this removed the usual ammo hunt part of playing an FPS game. |

Re: New mod for ROTT
Hi,
This mod is based on WinRottGL version 1.34 by Birger. |

Re: New mod for ROTT
Okay, but WinRottGL has been improved since, and you'd have to insure your version stays up to date with the latest version of WinRottGL jbailey and birgers are working on, and me that keeps testing it for bugs.
I wonder if jbailey could include your code somewhere as an option so that it becomes a part of WinRottGL (including the mention of your name). Oh, and one last thing: are you french?

I'd be ok with this, but birger would have to make the final decision... |

Re: New mod for ROTT
The full source code for this mod was handed over to Birger in June 2010. He did mention at the time that he would include it in a future release of WinRottGL, but as J.Bailey said it is up to him to decide on this. I hope he does, so professional programmers and hobbyists can further develop this mod .I am surprised that after 16 years , there are still players out there for this classic game.
As for the question about me being french? no,I am not.
