When i launch duke nukem 3d from eduke32 i canīt hear music from any levels!not even on the menu screen!I uploaded my .log file here as .txt so you can see it...i canīt figure it out whatīs the problem.thanks

Can you play midis on your PC? If you can, then the SW Synth volume is turned down low or muted, increase the SW Synth volume or unmute it.
EDIT: Have you updated your sound drivers?

Maybe he's on Vista.
I got the problem that I can hear shitty "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth" music *shivers* in the XDuke version, but when I start eDuke the music on/off switch in the menu is gray and I can't hear any music. It's a Vista problem on my side I guess. I can't load any better sounding Midi libraries besides that crap Microsoft thing either because it's limited/prohibited driver-wise. I'm running Vista 64 and a Creative X-Fi Extreme Audio PCIe with actual drivers. |

What OS do you have? Do you have more than one soundcard? I remember having troubles with music with a SB Audigy and motherboard soundcard both activated.
