Controls, changeable?
Hi, i wondered are the controls changeable in this version of Duke3D? The Demo didn't seem to have anything.

I'm ideally looking for Legacy Thumbstick setup as that's what i'm used to. I'm very outdated i know. I have tried to learn the regular controls.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but you are able to change the thumbsticks. Go to options, controls, and then at the bottom of that page is the option to switch the thumbsticks. Just scroll down and press A to check the box and there you go!

That's fine, no worries.

I tried that before, it changes it to Left Hand. Like the thumbsticks do the same just swapped over.

I was after Legacy. Where the left thumbstick moves forwards/ backwards and turns. Where the right thumbstick strafes/ looks up & down.

Oh, my bad. I guess I didn't really know what legacy meant. lol, that is a weird set-up. I can't imagine it would be good to get used to that. Doesn't that heavily restrict your choice of games? There can't be very many out there that give you the option to use that set up...

Re: Controls, changeable?
As all the console shooters before the Xbox just used the D-pad pretty much and the N64 used one analogue stick i got used to it. Then when i played Halo on the Xbox i chose to use this classic layout (legacy), as that's what i knew. And since i started playing Halo 2 online allot i really got dialled into legacy.

All the popular/ best shooters do have the option of legacy, Halo, Quake, Doom, COD etc i've never seen an issue.

But you are right, i am restricted to what i can play now! If i do get real desperate for Duke then i can just play it through DukesterX again.

One thing to remember though. The N64 controller. The layout on that is the same as Legacy.
