-Pig Cop wears an uniform. This is good.
-The uniforms are about as generic-space-marine as they get. What happened to those EDF guys from the 2001 trailer? This is bad.
-Octabrains are in. This is good.
-Octabrain looks like generic space tentacle monster #146. And why is it making that stupid sound instead of that creepy howling it did in DN3D? This is bad.
-The one-liner is painfully corny. I'm not sure if this is good or bad.

That teaser is better than what I had expected...I actually didn't expect any gameplay footage when there is obviously some in there. GREAT JOB, perfect for a teaser trailer and I am really looking forward to the new material you guys put up in the future.

ok, heres my full constructive criticism:
first of all: all animations look impressive, they are very good, except from one (will note later)..
the duke:
as betelgeuse said, the jean suspenders are just beautiful.
the muscles look very cool and the skin is like one of the best I've seen in current games.
the cracking of his knuckels and his voice are high quality, sounds perfect.
something about the head is weird, I dunno yet what, I have only slight guesses:
- the hair looks very bad compared to the ultra high quality of the rest of the model.
- the mouth animation looks unnatural imho.
- the sunglasses look a little too big, give him some more up-to-date sunglasses, something smaller/cooler/trendier.
- .. well maybe that was it, but atm I have the feeling, that the face doesn't look like duke..

the assault trooper:
the head is missing something, it looks too dead, probably just the eyes and maybe a little more red in the mouth.

the pig cop:
the pig cop looks absolutely awesome
nothing to complain about this model, just look at the lower jaw animation, thats awesome.
though the blood on the ground looks a little too reflective imho,..
I may be mistaken, but I don't think blood reflects that much, does it ?

the octa brain:
well the octa brain has the same problem as the trooper, it looks kinda dead with those eyes.
I'm missing the red eyes and green brain clow.

nice, I think I remember that one from the 2001 trailer.
looks a little like the dune worm though.
can't wait to kill one of these

overall great work so far, can't wait to buy this game and start modding it.

There is only one thing, i'd like to complain about: First monster-guy's hands and weapon looks pretty untextured. Am i blind, or there's something really wrong with him? :P

Edit: It seems, that there's only normal map applied on his palms and (partly) gun, yee. Have i won anything? :P

I'd say just get used to Duke's current look. It looks really good -- unbelievable good, actually, considering it won't show up too much in-game.

Even Gmail won't let you have a file attachment THAT large. The HD wmv version is about 40Mb. More if you count uuencoding to turn it into a file attachment.

Enforcer there looks different. Probably because it lost its Velociraptor head. I like the new Octobrain. Reminds me of a Sentinel from the Matrix and something from Doom 3/Prey. And of course the pig rules. Then there's that worm thing that could possibly be from the 2001 video eating that cow. All in all, I like the evolutions that these creatures received. It's good to move forward and not be stuck TOO much in the past.

Excellent. Am eagerly awaiting a proper trailer whenever that may come (new year's anyone? Nah, it'll probably take much longer), and of course the game itself as well. Good thing I just got myself an ATI X1650 Pro to replace my now dead ATI 9800 Pro. Though I'll probably still only be able to run the game at medium to low settings....assuming you can run it on lower settings.

great trailer also all the textures arent probrlly done and there is proberlly quite a few texture glitches and stuff but be happy we have finally seen something i also saw this on shack news
