Friday night brought the news that Duke Nukem 3D for Xbox LIVE Arcade will be released on the 24th. Today we bring you a new trailer for the game. Also, could someone tell me what version of Grabbag that is? Certain bits remind me of certain versions but I can't put my finger on it.

That's coming. We sent them the video this afternoon. I assume it takes a week or so to clear and get through the system. I'd expect it to be online by launch on the 24th?

Trailer is much better. I didn't realise there was this whole clip community thing till I saw the trailer, coupled with rewinding, achievments and the XBL support this game really is a greatly enhanced port of a classic game rather than some lame port that tried nothing new.

I'm wondering about it too. Why Joe and George keep saying you have to buy the game to get all 200 achievementpoints. There must be something get unlocked if you got all 200 points.

Meh - don't over think. I was talking about the pointwhores concept of people who want to go "I got 100% of the points in this one, too!"

And that's not what I said. I said you have to play online if you want all 200 - because three of the achivements are based on Ranked online play.

New art unlocks as you get more gamerscore for the game. Unlock achievements, unlock art.

It would be an epic achievement to start up an multiplayer community for a game which is 12 years old... I hope they succeed... A kick ass trailer is the first step...

OFF topic: Duke Nukem forever should have the same innovation/fun rate as Duke 3D in its time, so mouth to mouth story's between gamers is all about duke again...
