i still love to play a good dukematch all the time but recently im getting less and less people playing sometimes i dont get a game at all please tell me it hasnt lost its touch

Personally, I dont play it anymore because I prefer SP on the PC version, and after the 500 Kill achievement DM just isnt rewarding enough anymore for me to play

There are so many online games today that offer more than just deathmatch and team deathmatch.

I play it occasionally. When I can't find a Multiplayer match I just play single-player or Co-op. It's a blast!

PS: Ranked Matches need more maps. Have some of those maps that Joe says are Dukematch focused included (also, Shop n' Bag.)

They never shuffled around the maps like they said they would. This is huge to me.

To me, it's not really losing it's touch, rather it's just I've played it so many times since 1996 that it's hard to feel that excited about it anymore. I mean, i've probably played it a million times the first year, and then after that user maps kept my interest for along time.

Though it seems like many of the new posters here haven't been playing the game since it came out, so either they are more excited about it, or are too young/new to appreciate it with all the new games out these days.

people dont appreciate the games that started them all only the kickass fans do they all want to play cod5 or gears 2 sure theyre grat games but they dont have the sheer madness of rockets blowing up left right and cente

Yeah past 2 days I played, I was lucky to actually find some people. Good thing too seeing as I finally got the 500 kill achievement.

Yeah I can see how this is better than local. every match I got ( which usually had the same people from the last game had everyone in a shit connection.

And I didn't even get the first of the online acheivements.

I haven't even tried MP in a while. If there are still people playing, I guess I'll give it a go. I play SP about once or twice a day for 30 min on average.
