What is this?
This is Woody Island, Alaska. Does anybody know what this round structure is? My knowledge of radio facilities is limited (if that's what it is).

probably a non-directional radio beacon used by the FAA powered by solar power.

There is no power on the island.

It's an antenna. It looks like Woody Island is a support site for the Kodiak Launch complex.

If you were thinking it's a HAARP array it doesn't look like one. They have one in Alaska but I think it's 172 50,000 watt antennas laid out in a rectangular pattern.
