Anyway to build up on Joonas' trademark short vague answers, MP3 has been announced by Take 2.

No developer has been announced yet, but expect to hear an announcement sometime in 2005. MP3 should be out in stores in late 2006, early 2007.

Probably chose on a while ago. But I think it may be something they dev internally, that's why I have a hunch it might be for Xbox first. But nobody knows anything. Their fiscal reports have me suspicious though

My hunches ain't law, but that it's an inside development is a strong hunch, I think their competance is stronger in the console department, and afterall the PS2 version sold best, but Xbox is more in the wind lately, so... just a hunch. I hope it'll be PC personally. But for modding I guess my next route will be the next Remedy game in a couple of years

Well I hope it will be good. My inside source at R* says they have bad managment (he was with San Fran Rush, Red Dead Revolver ect ect). So I hope they outsource.

San Fran Rush? What kind of name is that? I suppose you mean Rockstar San Diego by that. They did Red Dead Revolver and Midnight Club games. Might be Rockstar Vienna is doing MP3, they did the (horrible looking) PS2 conversion, that wasn't their fault though. PS2 just can't handle the texture sizes and such. Would be coolest if Rockstar North did it, but they or someone else better be busy with getting GTA: SA to PC

Man, I once saw the promo of R.D.Revolver. It was horrible. and the graphics were pathetic.

Red Dead Revolver was an awesome game.

Actually it's a decent game, moody and cool. A tad on the difficult side IMO, but that's how those console games tend to be. People that play them have nothing better to do anyways

Yes. Take 2 fiscal reports indicate a MP3, we knew Remedy ain't making it a long time ago.
