How are ragdolls activated?
I inserted a ragdoll (env_ragdoll_blond) in my map, expecting to find it lying on the ground like a corpse when ran the map. Instead, it was suspended in midair, standing still, and I had to hit it with the wrench to make it fall. But I want to find it already "dead"! How do I proceed?
Man, mapping for Prey is frustrating! I want to do a lot of things, but apparently nobody knows how they're done, so I'll never learn! ![]()

Re: How are ragdolls activated?
It looks like I'll have to answer myself. So, here we go:
1.Create your ragdoll somewhere in level 2.Bsp map and run it 3.Find your ragdoll and then type in console: g_dragEntity 1 4.Now, when you aim at the ragdoll's (leg, arm, chest, etc) and hold the fire button, you can drag it around your map. 5.When you finished dragging your ragdoll(s), type in console: saveRagdolls 6.Open the editor and DO NOT SAVE THE MAP, but open your map again (if it is opened you also must open it to accept changes about ragdolls). 7.Now you see - ragdolls are O.K.! Oh, and there is a small tip: during the game pull down the console and type: bind (any button u want, e.g. k) toggle g_dragEntity, or bind k toggle "g_dragEntity 1 0". It will looks like this for example: Code:
bind k toggle "g_dragEntity 1 0"
