Preordered the game at ebgames, they didn't have the mutate figurine

I hope they get it when I pick up the game, because that one easily looks cooler than the other two figurines.

This is a stupid question but was there a separate Prey LCE preorder box from the regular edition? I asked the cashier if this would count towards LCE and she called someone in the back and they said it would count but I don't really trust them.

Pre-ordered my LCE of Prey. This game is gonna be huge! I can see it now, after the reviews and word of mouth, everyone will be jumping on the Prey bandwagon. Game of the Year, on the cover of all the gaming magazines. Then the guys at 3D Realms will be drunk with power and turn into John Romero, and start calling everyone their bitch. Then they will take the fortune they made off Prey and buy a new office with antique vases, black marble pillars, and original Leonardo da Vinci paintings. And blow the rest on pizza and strippers. Then we all will be here like, "I knew Joe Siegler before the egotrip." The release of Prey could bring the total downfall of 3D Realms!!

Yep, I still have my preorders through, just hope that they deliver those figurines when they ship the game itself... After playing both demos, I have to say, they may change the way we play FPS games on BOTH platforms... Well worth the $60 - $70 a piece. Well, $70 - $75 after taxes and shipping (overnight). Should be interesting, I can tell you that much, atm...

Same here, total came to 75 something. But it's well worth it for the LCE and such a greatly designed game. I spent about the same on pre-ordering the Director's Cut of FEAR.

BestBuy? I had the same story. There is only one Pre-Order box available, it has the Mutate figurine inside. They give you store credit and make assurances that they order 2 copies of Prey so that you have stock to select from on the 11th. I didn't feel comfortable about leaving the store without a guarantee that I'll have an LCE available for me when I came back. This was the best that they could to appeased my fears of a sell out on day 1. I still expect to get there early next Tuesday to be as certain as I can that I'll be playing Prey on the 11th.

On-line pre-ordering is for people that want to wait 24 - 168 hours for their game at the additional cost to ship!

(Unless you buy through Amazon and take the free snail mail shipping option.)

the Gamestop here in Puyallup, doesn't still have the pre-order box. The manager there said that they usually get the pre-order stuff in the day before the game is released.

I have my LCE copy all paid for now. I just turned in a bunch of PS2 games.

Pre-ordered the standard edition, which at least comes on DVD. Because I Pre-ordered from EB Games they throw in a free mouse mat. I so wish Australia was receiving the LCE. I'd definitely buy it.

Is it a Prey Mouse Pad? If it is you should scan it, I'd love to see what it looks like.

Yeah it's a Prey mouse pad, which is something handy, since I just bought a new Logitech G5. I'll see exactly what it's like in a week or so.

I'm still using my Max Payne mousepad, it's seen better days, hope I get a Prey pad. I preordered the LCE from Gamespot but I dont know if I get preorder credit for that or if it just becomes a reserve, the cashier didn't seem to know anything about it, I'm at the mercy of the spirits on this one.
