Who in here actually liked the movie? I'm a huge Max Payne

fan and i really loved the first game (haven't played the second yet). The story is one of the best i've ever seen for a video game and the characters were so beleivable that you can relate to them (sorta) and I actually hated the villian as much as Max did.

But the movie was terrible. There was no connections to the game and the worst part is when Max tooked valkyr and suddenly gained super powers.

What the hell were they thinking?

Marky Mark did a decent job of Max but i felt mona sax actor (whoever she is) was completely wrong.

For the first time in my life I left the theatre before the movie ended. I usually grunge through bad movies but seeing how they massacred Max Paynes great name, i had to leave. I guess the video game turned into a movie curse still lives on.

Did anyone actually like this?
