Prey PAL versions

I'd like to know if there are different PAL versions out there for Europe or if they are all the same, except that the language on the cases are different.

I wanted to buy me a copy of Prey and the game ist pretty cheap in france (15 Euro) whereas it is still expensive in germany (50 Euro).

So I thought to buy there but wanted to know if the game language and text would be english if my Xbox360's language is placed as english.

Looking forward for any answers. Thanks!

Well ... I can buy it för 10 EUR in Germany, so I'm not sure that you need to. But I have the same question. I donät want a dubbed german version - is it possible to alter the language afterwards or du I have to find myself an english version somehow?

You could always ship a copy from Aussie or NZ. All PAL here.

I needs to read properly the next time. I meant PC version, not crossbox.

Does a dubbed version exist anyway? My german PC-Version just comes with subtitles.
Just looked at okaysoft... they sell the X360-Version for 21.50€ (+ shipping + age verification of course). Guess you can find even cheaper offers.
The big discounters seem to keep prices high.

I've heard that there are no dubbed versions, only with subtitles (that can hopefully be switched off), which makes me a very happy boy as I refuse to buy it in german. I'll buy myself a copy tomorrow.

There's a console command, sys_lang, that can change the text language of the non-game content specific parts (eg no to Doom 3's PDA emails, but yes to the menus and Prey's dialogue subtitles) of Doom 3 engine games.

eg:-
seta sys_lang "french"
in your autoexec.cfg.

You may need to delete some extra pk4 files too (eg if the speech is fixed to a certain non-English language).

EDIT: Oh, you're talking about the 360 version. Sorry mate, I can't help there.
