How do I find cheats?

Someone made a mod for Duke3D. I'm trying to figure out where the cheat codes (actual typed strings) are stored, because in the mod, DNSTUFF doesn't work to get all weapons and DNKROZ doesn't make you invincible (in fact, none of the Duke3D cheats work). The mod maker disabled the cheats, or maybe just changed the keys. Can someone here tell me what file in the Duke3D folder contains the cheats? I'd like to reenable them if possible, so I need to know what file that would be in.
