This might sound weird... but when I search through all the steam games or type in the search engine - I cannot find Max Payne... It says it cannot be found.

Are you sure Max Payne is being sold on Steam???

I assume your not in the United States? Some game developers prevent certain country's from now purchasing and/or download a particular game from Steam. Max Payne 1 & 2 could be restricted from your country.

If your in the United States, it should be in there.

It must be that you are in a region where the game is not sold. This sometimes happens with steam.

You can still get it by using a 'free proxy' (google for it) from a country where it is sold, like USA or most EU countries. (USA being cheaper atm. $9.99 vs €9,99)

An other possibility is that you find a friend in one of those countries, PayPal the required amount to them, so they can give you the game through steams 'gift of game' option.

anyhow, i'm afraid the sale has ended now, and prices are back to normal...

******* HELL... That's a bit of a shit! I still like to play the game from time to time, and despite the fact that it may be back to the normal price - I still want to bloody play it.

I can find the game just fine and it's not on sale.. Maybe there was a temporary server problem.

Well it isn't a temporary server problem for me - I still can't get Max Payne to show up on the search menu... It's really pissing me off.

Nope - takes me straight to the home page. Nothing about Max Payne.

Get someone who can see the Max Payne bundle to gift it to you, just pay the person through paypal or something.
