Dopefish in Doom 3

I don't know if this has been reported yet, but the Dopefish has a small appearance in Doom 3. He appears in the center of the pentagram that appears quite frequently in the game, most notably on the ground when a demon teleports in. Here's a pic of him:

There's the fish shape, the eyes, and two buck teeth that make the Dopefish recognizable.

Ummmmmmmm....thanks for giving credit (NOT) on who made the initial discovery.

I realize that Joe S. has already denounced my assertion that this is the "Dopefish", but I stand by my claim.

I never said this was the initial discovery, and I've never challenged the person (you) who did. Frankly this was posted on another forum not giving credit to who they got it from, so if you expected that I got it from you, I certainly never knew. Edit: At least upon further inspection there's no mention of a name here. I was I was simply posting it here since no one has before, not claiming credit for discovering it. If it's not the Dopefish and it doesn't get added to the main page, then at least it's here for reference.

It doesn't particularly resemble the Dopefish if you ask me.
Too bad it isn't really in there...

Funny to see the original Doom guy and the UAC logo in there though.

OK, so something some people believe resembles the Dopefish is there, something some people believe even is the Dopefish is there, but the Dopefish... not there.
I'm pretty sure the artist himself would've known about it then. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's the portal in Delta Labs 4.
It looks like a fishhead with mouth wide open. Even the tongue is there...

I can say most definitely it is NOT Dopefish.

I know, because I asked id, and their answer was an EMPHATIC "NO!". The way it was answered means there can be no chance they're joking with me.

The "fish" in the pentagram actually looks like a man with a pineapple for a head with his arms raised.

I don't know what's up with it.
