I just noticed that the board was closed for I don't know how long before this post. I suspect when I put the last code update on here, I neglected to reopen the board after I was done.
Also, the user rules haven't actually changed, I just am testing a new feature of the software which lets me have the ability to force people to look at and agree to the rules before proceeding.

Stupid of me to leave it closed like that.
Kind of surprised no one emailed me to tell me about it.

That's what I thought.
The official Dopefish board down = lots of people mailing and asking when it's going to be up again after a short while. I guess if everybody thinks that nothing happens. Oh well, it's back up now! |

I like how you no longer have to click to enter the "Dopefish Discussions forum" since it's the only one.

Heh, so that's probably why it just went down for maintenance the other day.

I didn't see the point in having a forum summary when there's only one.

Does anybody else think it'd be a good idea to make the link to the message board on the Dopefish.com site a bit more obvious?
It might increase the amount of visitors, and to a lesser degree posters. I realise the Dopefish isn't a hot topic (although I wish it was; add some cameo appearances to your games, people), but I'm sure there are still things to talk about. Right now the link is pretty hard to notice. |

I agree. I didn't notice it the first few times I came here.

Well, Joe seems to be thinking of moving this to the 3D Realms forums, which should at least (theoretically) mean it'll be a bit more active.

Re: The board
Well, we're about to find out.
I'm not sure exactly when they were moved; I only just found out myself, but it can't have been long ago. (The Octa-Avenger made me smile!) |
